Bioux

A figure of London’s cabaret and burlesque scene, Bioux Lee Hayes has acquired a reputation as the rock’n’roll, swing and exotica DJ. Originally a record store owner in trendy Camden, his collection now spans from funk, soul, authentic ’60s ska to first generation reggae; an eclectic mix that has earned him serious credentials in Europe’s night life. He has played at many venues from the Hackney Empire, to Koko, The Box and Proud, all whilst holding residencies from London’s Sketch to Berlin’s Bang Bang Club, as well launching the monthly ‘Snakehips’ with Amy Winehouse!

Bioux’s unequalled sense of humour and individual panache are clearly reflected in his choice of sound - with decade-spanning sets to shake a leg to, that hit the retro youth vibe on the head.
